Dove Season is the kick-off to one of the best seasons of all- hunting season. But for our family, it’s not just about the hunt. It is about the investment made all year creating the habitat for the development of wildlife for the enjoyment of the time honored traditions we appreciate so much. All things outdoors have brought our family and closest friends together for generations. These same family traditions are still present and what we cherish the most.
Whether you are simply wanting to connect more with the outdoors, become more involved in your hunting camp, or perhaps you own property and need motivation to begin your own family traditions, our hope is to inspire and motivate others to have an appreciation for the outdoors, develop practices that support wildlife habitats and enhance the family experience apart from the hunt.

Over the years and in past generations, we have had varying degrees of success on dove hunts in particular. In more recent years, it became a priority to invest in that aspect of our land management and truly create a habitat that produced not only a good hunt for this year but would promise successful dove hunts in years to come. Here are our top 5 foundational rules when it comes to success:
1- Budget- Come up with a plan that is within your means.
2-Trial and Error- Try, try again. You will learn what works and does not work.
3- Expand - Keep growing, if possible. Buy land or develop unused areas of your property. This is an investment.
4- Maintain - There is no "set it and forget it" when it comes to managing wildlife.
5- Be creative - Don't be afraid to try new things and step outside of your comfort zone.
What does it take to truly invest in the conservation and development of wildlife? It makes a difference and you don't have to own land to do it. Get involved! Follow our Instagram and Facebook accounts for motivation!
